Blue Duck Lawn Care 2019…A season for gratitude!

As I sit here writing this blog entry and reflect on the 2019 season… there is only one word that comes to my mind.  That word is GRATITUDE.  Blue Duck Lawn Care is very thankful for all the clients we have had the pleasure to serve over the past 12 months.  We look forward to having an even stronger 2020.  We have developed a talented team around a couple core principles.  Our team embodies each and every principle we have a strive to get better each day.

What are we working on?

One thing that has had the biggest impact is building structure in the organization with management and honing in on our mission and vision statements.  If I am being critical, we have worked very hard towards our both, but still have a lot of work to do.  Below I am going to share with you a banner that hangs in our shop.  Each day we know what we are working towards and where we have to go.

Blue Duck Lawn Care Vision & Mission Statement 2019

What are we adding in 2020?

In addition to our award winning services like: mulch installation, leaf removal, aeration & overseeding, bed maintenance, shrub trimming, Spring/Fall clean-up and snow removal… We added junk removal (basement and garage clean outs) to keep our team busy in the winter months when is snow on the ground.

New Partnerships?

We have forged new partnerships with great companies.  They supply us with great products which will improve our services.  Take for instance, Reynolds Farm Equipment, we have purchased 4 mowers from them and a handful of backpack blowers.  Their customer service is second to none and we are grateful to have them as a vendor.

We are members for some great industry associations. Being members we help move our industry forward in a collaborative way.  We are proud members of SIMA, NALP, Service Autopilot Academy, and the Midwest Regional Turf Foundation.

As always, we strive to have great customer service.  This is an area that we can greatly improve.  We are looking to add a team member in the spring to ensure all calls are answered along with emails before the days end.  We have added automation’s to our software package.  Automation’s will help with communication, invoicing, credit card payments, and client feedback.  In 2020, we are taking it to another level by adding Quality Driven Software.  QDS will help get “quality of work” feedback so we can ensure all of our clients are receiving great service.

We love serving the Broad Ripple and Meridian-Kessler area and surrounding neighborhoods.  In 2020 we will be adding areas of Westfield and Fishers to our service area.  Our core focus will always be on lawn maintenance: bed maintenance, mulching, shrub trimming, spring & fall clean ups, aeration, lawn renovations, leaf removal and snow plowing.

We look forward to an exciting 2020 and can’t wait for the weather to warm back up!  Making properties look amazing is our passion and we are ready to get after it.  We have big plans in store to make our service even better.  Our hope is that you let your family and friends know that we are a dependable lawncare company that really cares about you, the customer!  If you are interested in our services, please do not hesitate to give us a call at 317-748-3153 or request a free estimate here.

All the Best,
